George’s passion for the subject of Mother and Child began with the study of the Madonna in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.

It is here that George mastered his techniques using coloured pencil. His love of this subject matter developed into finely crafted drawings and paintings that are held in high esteem all around the world. This evolved into creating many artworks depicting mothers and children from all different cultures.
